Christian Petersen

A little bit about me: My name is Christian Petersen, and I’m a certified nutrition coach through the Nutrition Coaching Institute (NCI). At 18 years old, I bring not only formal education but also personal experience to my work.

My health journey began two years ago, when I weighed 250 lbs and faced constant challenges with my weight and self-esteem. At first, I tried every mainstream diet and made the common mistake of severely under-eating. It wasn’t until I received support from my older brother and the professionals at NCI that I learned how to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way through proper nutrition.

After transforming my own health—going from 250 to 180 lbs—my passion became helping others achieve the same confidence, energy, and happiness that I discovered. I began pursuing my certification in the spring of 2024, and since then, I’ve been coaching friends and family to help them reach their health goals.

In June 2025, I launched OptiCro to bring my 8-week training program to the public. Through partnerships with local gyms, I aim to enhance member experiences and provide resources that support both physical and mental well-being.

Outside of coaching, I enjoy conversations about sports, finance, psychology, fragrances, and—most importantly—Diet Coke… I look forward to connecting with as many people as possible!
